Colorado ski resort opening dates for 2025-26 season

In five of the past ten years at least one resort has opened by the third week of October. In fact, Colorado has seen at least one ski area open every October since 1992.
Last season, Wolf Creek kicked things off on October 22, followed by Arapahoe Basin and Keystone on November 2. Winter Park opened on November 8, and Loveland on November 9. This year, Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Loveland, and Winter Park have all signaled they will begin spinning lifts as soon as conditions allow.
